snarky meaning
The adjective snarky is first recorded in 1906. It is from dialectal British snark, meaning 'to nag, find fault with', which is probably the same word as snark, snork, meaning 'to snort, snore'.
If you are snarky in real life and therefore want to be snarky online for fun, great. This is about whether snarkiness makes for good business communication, and a comment on those that are striking a snarky pose in the arena of business blogging .

Star Trek Insurrection
Paramount is really taking a dump on this which is too bad because I screened the film in September and it is extraordinary. There's very little action, it's just this really compelling mystery/thriller that has perhaps the best Trek film script since Star Trek II. Paramount includes a theatrical trailer and a teaser trailer, which is nice. Why the trailers are in 1.85:1 while the movie is 2.35:1 I don't really know. Paramount has wisely seen fit to return to anamorphic widescreen with this DVD, and the quality improvement is significant. The color is excellent, and these films are always vibrant, colorful celebrations of production design.
Picard and the crew defy Starfleet orders and act to prevent the relocation. Picard is confronted with orders that undermine that decree. If he obeys, 600 peaceful residents of Ba'ku will be forcibly removed from their remarkable world, all for the reportedly greater good of millions who will benefit from Ba'ku's Fountain of Youth-like powers. Picard counters with the Federation's Prime Directive, which instructs that the natural development of any civilization must not be interfered with.
Commander Data runs amok and taken a cultural survey team hostage, his first concern is to save Data--who will have to be destroyed if he cannot be repaired. But when Picard investigates, he finds something strange about the Ba'ku, the race the survey team was observing. Commander Data (Brent Spiner ) seemingly goes berserk and attacks the survey team, exposing their existence to the populace and jeopardizing the mission. Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart ) brings the Enterprise into orbit to try and apprehend Data and find out what happened . Commander Data is part of an invisible crew that’s monitoring the progress of this civilization. Without warning, Data apparently goes berserk, firing on the other anthropologists and exposing himself and the other scientists to the unsuspecting civilization.

Colt McCoy
Colt McCoy has really turned it around this year and looks to be not only a versatile QB who can pass and run the ball, he looks to be the leader of the team on Offense. From those persons with whom I?ve spoken, he seems to be a sincere player who is strong in his beliefs and convictions. As soon as they flashed up to the stands in the middle of the Texas/Missouri game, I knew two things: the blonde was hot, and she must be Colt McCoy’s girlfriend. Turns out I was right (though I didn’t need confirmation about the former). Texas quarterback Colt McCoy went 17 for 19 for 185 yards with three passing touchdowns and racked up 84 yards and two touchdowns on the ground in the Longhorns' 52-10 victory over Arkansas. Oregon State running back Jacquizz Rodgers ran for 186 yards and two touchdowns in the Beavers' 27-21 upset over No.

green bean casserole
One of my favorite Thanksgiving and holiday potluck dishes is green bean casserole. When I make it I like to use either fresh, or frozen green beans, not canned. In addition to the basic Campbell's Green Bean Casserole, we have always added 1 tsp. We have also added a can of sliced water chestnuts or sliced toasted almonds. Until I was 40, I never, once, in my life, tasted green bean casserole. Once I did, though, my life was never the same again.
It’s the one I would make, and it’d probably be the first green bean casserole I’d like. If you’re up for it, use the homemade fried onions from here to top it off. I really like your idea - it feels fresher and more alive than a green bean casserole. I have never had canned green beans - if I need some and they are not available in fresh I keep a bag of frozen ones in my freezer - but only fresh would do here. I can’t eat wheat, and now I can make something for everyone for Thanksgiving with this green bean casserole. I don’t think everyone understands how hard it can be to have diet restrictions and still have a meal with the entire family.
It is evident that green bean casserole has munched its way into the hearts of Americans everywhere. I never thought in a million years that I would post a recipe for any type of green bean casserole. This, however is a wonderful dish. Another option to give green bean casserole its creamy taste could be to use fat free sour cream and fat free milk. Margarine is of course the no brainer too.

Renee Haugerud predicts
Renee Haugerud, founder of a $2.5 billion commodity hedge fund predicts oil will be $80 a barrel within the next 12 months. Commodity and other prices are likely to fall further as consumer demand continues to wane world wide due to rising unemployment and declining property values. Today he says he has no dominant positions and cites certain themes such as insurance providers in emerging markets and food.
The Governing Council will continue to keep inflation expectations firmly anchored in line with its medium-term objective. In so doing, it supports sustainable growth and employment and contributes to financial stability.

Barbara Bush - tests were negative
Barbara Bush spent Tuesday night in a Houston, Texas, hospital after falling ill, according to a family spokeswoman. Former first lady Barbara Bush had complained of stomach pains, a family spokeswoman ststed.
Spokeswoman Jean Becker said Bush, 83, was admitted to Methodist Hospital for testing after complaining of stomach pain for several days.
She arrived at the emergency room at about 5:30 p.m. Central Time.
After feeling ill, Bush called her husband, former President George H.W. Bush, at his office urging him to take her to the hospital.
The former president's Secret Service detail drove them both to the hospital, Becker said.
Jim McGrath, a spokesman for Bush's husband said all of the tests were negative.
"She's fine," McGrath said.
Bush has been diagnosed with the thyroid condition Graves' Disease. It was not known whether the condition had any relation to her hospitalization on Tuesday.
Bush, the mother of President George W. Bush, was first lady during her husband's term as president from January 1989 to January 1993.
